In addition, you must check the formulation ingredients of the product, send notification of importer and seller to Japanese government, customs clearance, and label product’s ingredients. Only after going through all these complicated procedure, you can start selling the product.

Here is the workflow.
Step 1 Please Contact Us
Please let us know the overseas cosmetic product which you’d like to import.
Step 2 We will check the product.
We will confirm if we can import the product or not by following the steps from a. to c. as below.
- a. We check the features and effects of the product and formulation ingredients.
- b. We confirm if the product fulfills the Standards for Cosmetics in Japan by the analysis of component before importing.
- c. After analyzing the data, we will issue a certificate of analysis (issued by an organization registered Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare).
Step 3 Make a contract
If there is no problem with the procedure above, we will sign up a contract of cosmetics import agency service.
According to the purchase agreement between customers and overseas manufacturer, we will go ahead with all the procedure to the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law.
We will apply for an import request to institutions and obtain the import license instead of customers.
Step 4 Power Spot Corporation completely takes all the importing process on the behalf of customers.
About custom clearance, we will do through our business partner; customs agent.
Step 5 We will prepare the ingredients labeling for the product and the package.
※It’s also possible to design the label script only (if labeling done overseas).
Step 6 Sampling inspections will be conducted according to the importing amount and frequency.
We can handle if there is a change of product ingredients or packages.
Step 7 Send the product to customer’s warehouse
We will send the product to the place where the customer specifies.

Some customers expect to import the food product as soon as possible, but it is not easy to import food. After the product arrives in an airport or a port, mostly it must be analyzed before customs clearance.

If you would like to import by yourself, we are also available for one-off order.
